Trash
Deleting a report doesn't destroy it — it moves to Trash, where it can be restored.
When a report is deleted it is marked as deleted rather than removed. It disappears from your home page and from folders, but the report and everything on it is still there.
What's in Your Trash
Trash shows deleted reports that you either created or had access to, most recently deleted first. Each entry shows:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Type | Currently Report — reports are what Trash holds. |
| Name | The report's name at the time it was deleted. |
| Deleted At | When it was deleted. |
ℹ️ Trash Is Scoped to You
You see deleted reports you created or had access to — not everything deleted across the organization. If a colleague deleted a report you never had access to, it will not appear in your Trash.
Restoring
Select the report and restore it. It returns to your home page exactly as it was, with its visuals, settings, and version history intact.
💡 Sharing Survives Deletion
Restoring a report brings back the access that was granted on it. You don't need to re-share it with everyone who had it before.
What Trash Does Not Cover
Trash holds reports. Deleting other objects behaves differently:
- Datasources — removing access or deleting a datasource is not undone through Trash
- Folders — deleting a folder removes the grouping; the reports inside it are not deleted with it
- User groups and communication channels — deleted outright from the admin console
